Anna Robey

Anna’s bio 

I’ve been going to the gym for years but fancied giving something else a go so decided to give Crossfit a go. 

I’m a keen runner and have run races from 5km up to a marathon, and I’ve recently come back from a run weekend at Disneyland Paris where we ran 36km over three days. 

My passion in life is running and Crossfit, my family, and wearing the funkiest leggings I can find down in the box. 

Crossfit has been amazing, it’s really helped with my confidence and I’ve made some amazing friends.

So far I’ve done the Crossfit open after only being a member for a few months, I’ve done my first Crossfit competition and I did 8hrs of the 24hr charity wodathon that then club recently held.

How Long have you been doing CrossFit?
– I Joined in January 2019.
Favourite CrossFit workout?
– CrossFit Open Workout 19.1 (19 Wallballs, 19 Calorie Row).
Favourite Movement?
– Deadlifts / Wallballs
Favourite Hero Workout?
– Half Murph (we did it as part of the 24hr Wodathon and I loved it).
Favourite CrossFit workout?
– One rep max back squat
Favourite cheat meal?
– Pizza
