I’ve had over 10 years in the British Army and over 7 years as a Private Security Consultant in Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan working for the US Government and British Embassy. Functional Fitness has been a key role in all my jobs since 1995. After being introduced to CrossFit, Ive realised that this was the way ahead for fitness industry.

I joined Crossfit in Autumn 2018 and caught the bug straight away, I started from scratch and could barely lift a barbell at the beginning! I found that I loved the community and how CrossFit makes you want to get better. My goals went from wanting to look better to ‘how can i improve my skills’. So taking part in the classes since then I have been able to do things I thought I could NEVER do, and loved every second.

Realising I wanted this sport to be more than a hobby, working alongside head coach Mark all through the autumn/winter of 2019, I then became a qualified level 1 trainer in January 2020.
I have loved coaching my members and friends since then and have watched people grow and smash new PBs, and it’s been amazing to watch.

Favourite Workout?
Fight gone bad and DT

Favourite Movement?
Clean and jerks!

Favourite Crossfit Workout?
Maybe Murph, or anything with Wall balls and barbells (and maybe a run).

First CrossFit Workout?
Cant remember, but I remember who I was with and it was the most welcoming experience, at that point I knew Crossfit was for me!

Favorite Cheat Food?
Chocolate biscuits, will eat a pack in one sitting if I can!
