As we age, our physical performance naturally begins to deteriorate, mainly due to a reduction in muscle strength and aerobic stamina. The loss of muscle strength associated with age can lead to many daily disadvantages such as difficulties picking up a grand child, getting up from a seated or laying down position and going up or down stairs; a functional decline.
